Korean Beef & Rice

This Korean inspired recipe can be on your dinner table in only 20 minutes. We’re talking a deliciously yummy meal that is quick and easy to prepare.

This easy and deliciously yummy recipe makes for a perfect weeknight meal. Such a simple meal to prepare and is fulled with Asian flavor.

Korean Beef & Rice

1 pound ground beef

3 garlic cloves minced

1 tablespoon sesame oil

½ cup brown sugar

¼ cup soy sauce

¼ teaspoon ground ginger

salt and pepper

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (more or less depending on how spicy you like it)

2 cups cooked rice

1 bunch green onions diced

2-3 teaspoons sesame seeds, garnishing (optional)

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown beef with garlic in the sesame oil.

Next, drain most of the fat and add brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, salt and pepper and red peppers. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors.

Serve over steamed brown or white rice and top with green onions & sesame seeds (optional).
