Homemade Peach Jam BBQ Sauce with Aleppo Pepper A Sweet-Heat Sensation

Homemade Peach Jam BBQ Sauce with Aleppo Pepper A Sweet-Heat Sensation

Few things elevate a dish like a well-crafted sauce, especially one that balances sweet, smoky, and spicy with finesse.

Enter Peach Jam BBQ Sauce with Aleppo Pepper, a versatile condiment that’s equal parts playful and sophisticated.

With the natural sweetness of peaches, the umami depth of soy sauce, and the warm, fruity kick of Aleppo pepper, this sauce is a game-changer for everything from grilled meats to vegetarian staples.

Why This Sauce Works

Peach jam brings concentrated sweetness and a subtle tang.

Aleppo pepper adds mild heat (about 10,000 Scoville heat units) with tomato-like fruitiness, raisin-y tang, and cumin earthiness.

A pepper that’s less aggressive than cayenne but more complex. It’s also a great alternative to generic chili powder or red pepper flakes.

Soy sauce and smoked paprika deepen the flavor profile, making it savory enough to stand up to rich proteins.

How To Use Homemade Peach Jam BBQ Sauce with Aleppo Pepper

Glaze for Grilled & Roasted Meats

Brush onto pork ribs during the last 10 minutes of grilling for a sticky, caramelized crust.

Toss with pulled pork or chicken for sandwiches with a sweet-spicy twist.

Baste salmon fillets or shrimp skewers before broiling.

Upgrade Your Burgers & Sandwiches

Slather on fried chicken sandwiches with slaw for a Southern-meets-Middle-Eastern vibe.

Mix into burger patties (or drizzle on top) for juicy, flavor-packed bites.

Vegetarian & Plant-Based Magic

Roast cauliflower steaks or sweet potatoes and drizzle generously.

Stir into baked beans or lentil loaf for a smoky-sweet boost.

Unexpected Pairings

Dip goat cheese crostini or halloumi fries for a sweet-heat contrast.

Swirl into cream cheese as a bagel spread with smoked salmon.

Toss with roasted nuts for a party snack.

This isn’t just a barbecue sauce, it’s a secret weapon. Keep a jar in your fridge (it lasts up to 3 – 4 weeks), and you’ll find excuses to use it on everything.

Sweet, smoky, and just enough heat to keep things interesting, it’s the condiment equivalent of a mic drop (mark of excellence). Like this Homemade Honey Barbecue Sauce.
