A little maple syrup can bring deliciousness to baked chicken thighs.

Baked Maple Chicken Thighs

8-10 chicken thighs, skinless, boneless

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon sesame oil

2 teaspoons salt, or to taste

½ teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons real maple syrup

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

3 garlic cloves, pressed

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Preheat oven to 425F.

Add the chicken thighs to a large bowl. Add the salt, pepper, oils, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, pressed garlic and one tablespoon of chopped parsley. Mix well and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.

Mix once again and transfer the chicken thighs to a 9″ x 13″ baking dish.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the the thighs reach about 155-165 degrees internal temperature.

Remove the baking dish from oven. Turn oven off and turn broil on to high.

Baste thighs with some maple syrup. Return baking dish to the top rack under the broiler. Broil for a few minutes, constantly watching, until slightly browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the thighs from the oven, baste with pan juices and let rest for about 5 minutes.

Sprinkle with the remaining chopped parsley. Plate and serve with your favorite side dish and a green salad.
