One-Skillet Honey Garlic Pork Chops: A Deliciously Simple Dinner

5 boneless pork chops, 1-inch thick

Salt and pepper, to season chops

1/4 cup honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

2 tablespoons flat leaf parsley, minced

Season your pork chops with salt and pepper.

Mix honey, garlic, and soy sauce in a small bowl. Set aside.

Heat oil in a large non-skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Remove the chops and set them aside. Lower the heat and add butter to the pan.

Cook’s Notes

Ensure the pork chops are seared well to lock in the juices and create a crispy outer texture before simmering them in the sauce.

Allow the honey and garlic sauce to simmer until it thickens and caramelizes to enhance the rich flavors.

Be sure to include the tablespoon of butter to keep the sauce smooth and preventing it from hardening.

Pour in the honey garlic mixture. Let it simmer for a 1-2 minutes or until it starts to thicken. Add the parsley and mix in.

Return the pork chops to the skillet with any juices. Cook for another 5 minutes, flipping and basting them with the sauce.
