Korean Beef and Broccoli

1 pound flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced

2 cups broccoli florets

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/4 cup water

1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste) or to taste
