With a handful of ingredients and a touch of love, you can impress your family and friend’s with a meal that’s as beautiful as it is delicious.

The Magic of Flavor Combinations

The pairing of pork and cherries is a classic that never goes out of style.

Cherries add a delightful sweetness that complements the savory notes of the pork, while balsamic vinegar introduces a tangy depth that ties the flavors together brilliantly.

Garlic adds an aromatic kick, making every bite even more irresistible.

Saucy Cherry Balsamic Pork Chops

4 boneless pork chops

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup fresh or frozen cherries, pitted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish (optional)

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.

In a large non-stick skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. When oil starts to shimmer add the chops and sear until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, add the cherries, balsamic vinegar, honey, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the cherries are soft.

Return the pork chops to the skillet, nestling them into the sauce. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through (internal temperature of 145°F).

Plate the pork chops drizzled with sauce and garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary (optional). Serve with sides of your choice, like roasted carrots with brown sugar and chili flakes and roasted green beans almondine.

These Saucy Cherry Balsamic Pork Chops truly bring a flavorful punch to your meal.

Quick, easy, and bursting with taste, they are perfect for a family dinner or a special occasion.
