Berries and Vanilla Pudding Pie

A Vanilla Pudding Pie that is not only deliciously yummy but simple and fast to make.

Using a few fresh ingredients, store bought pudding mix and pie crust with less than ten minutes of your time, you can have an easy dessert everyone will love.

A pie with creamy vanilla pudding, dressed up with fresh berries and banana slices all nestled into a buttery crust.

A go to dessert that can be served at summer parties, potluck dinners, backyard barbecue’s, or when you need a quick dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth, Berries and Vanilla Pudding Pie is the one.

Berries and Vanilla Pudding Pie

1 3.5 ounce box vanilla pudding (use your favorite pudding brand)

1/4 of a medium banana, cut diagonally into 5 – 1/2 inch slices

1/2 cup fresh blueberries

8 medium sized strawberries, fresh

2 cups almond or coconut milk

1 9-inch all butter pie crust shell, blind baked and cooled

For The Pie Crust

Follow instructions on packaging if provided or here to blind bake your – all butter pie crust – Blind Baking Your Pie Crust

For The Filling

Make the pudding according to package instructions. For add flavor, replace the 2 cups of milk with 2 cups of almond or coconut milk.



The package instructions will indicate it is optional to use one egg yolk for a creamer pudding. It is at your discretion adding the yolk or not.

Pour the prepared pudding into the cooled pie shell and let set in refrigerator for the amount of time indicated on pudding box.

Preparing The Fruit

When the pudding has set, prepare the fruit, by slicing strawberries in half, placing each slice cut side down around the out edge of the pie.

Sprinkle the blueberries evenly on the exposed pudding, leaving the center for the banana slices.


Berries and Vanilla Pudding


Next, place the five slices of banana in the center in a circular motion. Top the bananas with a few blueberries. Plate and serve.

      I enjoy the berries as well. I eat blueberries with my oatmeal or juice them with a mango. Their in season fresh only May thru Aug. So I buy them often.

      Though I heard on NPR’s Splendid Table with ? Rosetta (forgot her first name) that blueberries are just as good frozen as they are fresh. Her guest speaker said that even the phyotonutrients were more beneficial,
